With the curtain just falling on Big Brother 27, many fans are already asking the big question: When will Big Brother 28 premiere?
At this point, there’s little doubt that another season is coming. The success of season 27 — from strong CBS ratings to the popularity of the Paramount+ live feeds — all but guarantees the franchise’s continuation. Simply put, Big Brother remains one of CBS’s most profitable and dependable summer staples.

So when should viewers expect the next chapter? While there’s always a slim chance CBS could experiment with a winter edition (perhaps to counterprogram the Olympics), the more likely scenario is a return to its usual summer slot. That would mean another early July premiere, keeping in line with the network’s long-running strategy.
Season 27, which wrapped up after 83 days, offered a brisker pace than some past installments. The slightly shorter format worked in the show’s favor — the game moved quickly, the endgame didn’t drag, and there was rarely a lull even as the house dwindled down.
All things considered, aside from the divisive “White Locust” twist, many would argue that season 27 delivered one of the stronger outings in recent years. With that momentum, CBS will no doubt be eager to keep the tradition alive with Big Brother 28.
