Thursday night brought another major shift inside the Big Brother 27 house as one more houseguest was sent packing, officially kicking off Jury. With just nine players left, the stakes couldn’t be higher—two will make it to finale night, while the other seven will soon decide who takes home the $750,000 prize. But first, the house needed a new Head of Household.
Mickey was blindsided by her 6-1 eviction, with Vince casting the lone vote in her favor. That bold move left him as the only Judge to turn against his alliance by voting against Ashley. It may have been a gamble that costs him, unless he can secure power this week. Then again, at this point, every houseguest is fighting for their own survival.
The White Locust Twist & Week 9 HOH
This wasn’t a standard HOH competition. Thanks to the ongoing White Locust twist, the eviction didn’t come from the usual vote. Instead, Rachel was abruptly eliminated by a non-vote method tied to the twist, becoming the first member of the Jury.
Once Rachel was out, the remaining houseguests faced off for the next Head of Household. The comp took place overnight, with Feeds staying down until after Unlocked aired on the West Coast. When the cameras returned, the results were in:
- Lauren is the new Head of Household.
What’s Next
By the time HOH results surfaced, nominations had already been set, with details spilling soon after. The veto competition is expected on Saturday, putting the house back on its normal schedule as alliances scramble and cracks widen heading into the final stretch.
