This week’s Big Brother 27 Power of Veto drama had more twists than anyone expected. At first, it looked like the medallion wouldn’t be used. Then whispers shifted things, and the Veto holder insisted she wouldn’t play it—only to later reconsider. So, what actually went down?
Lauren secured the win, outlasting all three nominees and the Head of Household. With the Veto in hand, she suddenly became the houseguest everyone wanted on their side. The pressure mounted all weekend, but by Sunday night’s Live Feeds, Lauren revealed she was leaning toward saving Vince. That choice would force Rachel, the HOH, to make a renomination.

Rachel wasn’t thrilled. She accused Vince and Morgan of pushing Lauren to tears to sway her decision, though both denied it. Still, their desire for safety was obvious. Meanwhile, Rachel warned that if forced to renom, she would take an all-out “nuclear” approach. Bluff or not, the tension was thick.
Veto Ceremony Results – Week 6

Final nominees: Morgan, Mickey, and Rylie
Before the ceremony, Lauren had late-night talks with Katherine and Rylie, both encouraging her to use the Veto. Rachel, on the other hand, cautioned Lauren not to, warning that their future trust might be damaged.
Once feeds returned from the meeting, the fallout was immediate. Some houseguests were furious, while others celebrated upstairs in the HOH room. Keanu confronted Rachel about targeting Rylie, pointing out she may not have the numbers. Rachel insisted she did, but Keanu disagreed, saying Rylie already had five votes locked in and that he wouldn’t betray his allies to help Rachel’s side.
Now, the house is split, and the vote could get messy. Rachel claims Rylie is her real target, but can she rally the numbers—or is she in for a shock on eviction night?
