Big Brother 27: Why Jimmy Is the Likely Renomination Pick

As the dust settles from Saturday’s high-stakes Veto competition, all signs in the Big Brother 27 house point to Jimmy being the top contender for renomination. With Keanu expected to remove himself from the Block, HOH Mickey is weighing her options — and Jimmy’s name keeps rising to the top. Here’s why he’s in the most danger heading into Monday’s Veto Ceremony:

He’s Viewed as a Strategic Disruptor

Multiple houseguests particularly Mickey, Morgan, and Will are convinced that Jimmy has been playing too many sides and stirring up unnecessary drama. He’s been accused of:

  • Spreading damaging rumors about Keanu.
  • Manipulating conversations behind the scenes.
  • Feeding misinformation to both sides of the house.

Morgan and Mickey both blame him for creating confusion and instability, especially during the fallout from Rylie’s dethroned HOH and the subsequent nomination chaos.

He’s Become the Scapegoat for House Tensions

Throughout Saturday night, Jimmy was consistently mentioned as the common denominator in various conflicts:

  • Morgan said that Jimmy is the reason things have become so hard for Keanu socially.
  • Rachel and Ashley mentioned him in the same breath as Vince when discussing potential evictions — but Jimmy was treated as the more urgent concern.
  • Even Ava reportedly wants Keanu isolated because of something Keanu said — yet Jimmy is still the bigger concern among strategists.

This type of wide-ranging suspicion is dangerous in Big Brother — and often signals a shift toward a house consensus.

Social Game Missteps Are Catching Up

While Jimmy had a strong early presence, his recent efforts to smooth things over may be too little, too late. His conversation with Mickey on Saturday evening was telling: he sensed something was off and tried to preempt any fallout, but Mickey gave vague, noncommittal responses — a classic sign that a renom is already in the works.

Later that night, he joined Mickey and Will in the HOH room, but the conversation quickly pivoted to damage control. Mickey and Morgan had already discussed how to justify nominating him, agreeing they’d present it as a consequence of his dishonesty and divisiveness.

The Numbers Don’t Favor Him

If Jimmy ends up next to Kelley or Rylie on the Block, he could face a steep uphill battle. Several houseguests — including Will, Ashley, Morgan, and likely Rachel — appear ready to vote him out.

Kelley, despite being on the Block for a fourth straight week, may benefit from Jimmy being viewed as a bigger threat.

And Rylie, after the loss of his HOH and an emotional week, seems to have gained a sympathy buffer that could keep him safe in a head-to-head vote.

Mickey’s Dilemma: Make a Big Move or Play It Safe?

Mickey has two clear renom paths:

  • Play it safe: Nominate a quieter houseguest like Lauren or Katherine, and avoid major waves.
  • Make a move: Nominate Jimmy and potentially take out a social and strategic threat.

Right now, all signs point to Mickey choosing the bolder path. She’s been telling allies she wants to protect Rylie (in part due to guilt over the Coup D’État) and seems to be pulling away from Rachel, who she fears will take the renom poorly if it’s not her idea.

Jimmy, meanwhile, has no strong alliance behind him. With no one aggressively campaigning to save him, he’s vulnerable to being an easy consensus vote.

Jimmy Is in Serious Trouble

Unless something shifts drastically before Monday morning, Jimmy is Mickey’s most likely renomination — and potentially the fourth evictee of the season. With Keanu coming off the Block and Kelley and Rylie both campaigning hard, Jimmy may be walking into a vote he can’t win.

His only path forward? A last-minute social miracle, or someone else making a bigger mistake.

Stay tuned — because in the Big Brother house, even the surest targets can slip away.
