Week 2 in the Big Brother 27 house continues to shake things up with high-stakes power moves and strategic uncertainty. The Power of Veto ceremony has officially taken place, and here’s what went down:
Keanu Saves Himself
As expected, Keanu used the Power of Veto on himself. The medallion — originally won by Kaycee in Week 1 and gifted to Keanu — provided him with the perfect opportunity to escape Jimmy’s nomination block.
Jimmy Names Amy as the Replacement Nom
In response, HoH Jimmy chose Amy as Keanu’s replacement nominee. This marks a significant shift, as Amy was previously outside of the direct line of fire. With this move, Jimmy appears to be targeting players who might be flying under the radar — or perhaps getting too close to certain strategic threats (Rachel, maybe?).
Kelley’s Power Still in Play
One big wildcard remains: Kelley’s secret power. She hasn’t yet played her solo competition, which could potentially change the game’s trajectory again. Kelley has expressed interest in using it, but as of now, the timeline and mechanics for when or how her comp will happen remain unclear.
Could production be saving it for Wednesday’s build-up? Or will Thursday’s live show — already expected to feature the Blockbuster twist — have room for yet another comp? Either way, all eyes are on Kelley as the house braces for a possible twist before eviction night.
